Based on the above understanding, Africa Hope Health Foundation will implement a multi-pronged approach to address the cancer menace in Meru by
- Improving Access to Primary Healthcare:
The foundation seeks to use mobile medical clinics to reach remote areas, offering basic consultations, diagnostics, and medication dispensing. Provide free medical camps and screenings for communities in Igembe and Meru as a whole.
The Foundation will further train and equip community health workers to provide basic care, health education, and referrals.
Telemedicine: Implement telemedicine platforms to connect patients with doctors in urban areas for consultations and specialist advice.
